POTUSFI
Planned for Phase 3

Spend your portfolio without selling it.

The card is where the whole system becomes ordinary. Rent, groceries, flights — funded by a credit draw against assets you still own. Without it, borrowing ends at a DEX; with it, the user never has to understand DeFi at all.

POTUS Card is specified, not shipped. The contracts behind it are skeletons with no implementation, nothing is deployed or audited, and figures marked illustrative are examples from the specification rather than committed parameters. Spec: README Sections 20-22, 52.

Process flow

How it works

  1. Pick a mode

Debit spends the USDG in your wallet. Credit spends against your collateral-backed line.

  2. Swipe

The transaction authorises like any other card payment.

  3. Auto-draw

In credit mode the spend becomes a draw against your existing line — your portfolio does not move.

  4. Repay

Pay down the balance when it suits you; available credit recovers as you do.

Features

What you get

  • Two modes

Debit for USDG you hold directly, credit for USDG you can draw against tokenized stock.

  • Your position stays intact

Spending draws credit rather than selling shares, so market exposure, upside and the dividend multiplier are all untouched.

  • No DeFi knowledge needed

The card is the distribution mechanism that makes the protocol usable by people who never touch a DEX.

  • Real-world acceptance

Settlement runs through regulated payment partners rather than being simulated onchain.
